We found out first hand that growing a family is not always easy. We were parents for the first time through the miracle of adoption. It was then that all the worship songs that talked about God parting the seas hit home with us. We felt like we knew what it meant to be the Israelites walking through the divided waters on dry ground as God made a way for us to grow our family through adoption. He would grow our family through adoption two more times, as well as allow us to have a biological child after nine years of trying to have a baby naturally. There are many barriers to growing a family through adoption. We never want the financial barrier to be what stops a family from coming together.
